The BMS Suzuki Reno/Forenza Cold Air Intake kit features a roto-molded plastic plenum chamber and cold air duct. The plenum chamber is designed so that, during a transition from a low load to high load state, there is a greater volume of air available around the throttle body than running an elbow tube alone. The cold air duct draws oxygen-rich cool air from the lower fender area. A cone-shaped air filter provides the maximum amount of cleaning capability while allowing the highest efficiency air flow.

The system also incorporates an OEM Intake Air Temperature sensor, eliminating a time consuming step during installation. Mounting occurs through the use of two stainless steel brackets mounted directly to the stock motor mount locations for maximum strength. Rubber shock mounts sit between the brackets and the intake tubes to block harmful engine vibration. The system incorporates two silicone hose junctions to allow precise installation placement. These pieces allow vibration damping without compromising strength or adding heat to the system. This kit is good for a 5% increase in performance across power and torque. Throttle response is noticeably more crisp through the entire range of engine speed. Sound has also been improved as the vehicle now has a deep throaty tone associated with quick acceleration and a powerful launch. Instructions are included with each kit and installation is easy with the use of generic shop tools and basic mechanical skill.
